On the Path to Promotion: Tips for Smoothing the Bumps in the Road Online
During this hour long webinar, faculty from ACA institutions are invited to join Dr. Jeffrey Perry, Associate Professor of History and Chair of Faculty Affairs at Tusculum University, to discuss strategies for successfully navigating the promotion and/or tenure process.
Though faculty of all ranks are welcome to attend, this professional development session will benefit those seeking promotion to either assistant or associate professor, especially. Covering tips to make your promotion experience more efficient and successful, we will also discuss the unique challenges faced by female faculty and those from underrepresented groups and recommend ways to remove obstacles on their paths to tenure and promotion.
